2.12.11 Just got back from lunch at the Coombe Barton Inn and I have to say it was very enjoyable. Celebrating my 60th birthday which the staff did not know about and we had a very warm welcome with a lovely smile. I had scampi and chips and although I do not like oven chips it was very tasty and... More

I stayed at the Coobe Barton Inn with my partner for one night when visiting some friends over the August bank holiday. It was a last minute booking so the only room left was one with a separate bathroom. I was a bit worried about this, but was delighted when we were upgraded on arrival, due to a cancellation. We... I have just returned from a week staying at the Inn with my 84 year old mother and 13 year old daughter; so a mixture of requirements to cater for. Carl and his staff (who were all helpful, friendly and efficient) looked after us wonderfully. Our rooms were comfortable; room 6, with its own balcony, was amazing, as already mentioned... More

The setting for the Coombe Barton Inn is fantastic without a doubt. The inn and rooms aren't. We paid a considerable amount extra for a room with a balcony and sea view. The balcony had no furniture at all in it. There was one, upright chair in a double room, taken from the pub downstairs. There had been a superficial... More

We spent 2 nights at the Coombe Barton inn last week and can't wait to go back again. The location is breath taking set in an unspoilt cornish cove which you would never know existed and you wake in the morning to the sound of the waves gently pounding the beach which is no more than 70 yards away. The... More

We live in the area, but this was our first visit, for lunch, to the pub in Crackington Haven. I have to say I have no complaint with the service which was friendly and willing. Obviously the surroundings, even on a rainy morning, are outstanding. However, when it came to the food, it was nothing special and when we lunch... More

I am a seasoned visitor to Crackington Haven and so with a few meetings in and around North Cornwall, I thought I would stay at the Coombe Narton which has had a fairly recent temultous past. The place was quiet what with it being New Year, but the rates were incredibly cheap, the room I stayed in (Number 6) had... More

We were tired when we arrived from the coast path and were very pleased to discover the Inn in the haven. We had reserved a beautiful and confortable room with a welcome bath tub. In the evening we had two different delicious dishes and great ales. The next morning we enjoyed an english breakfast which gave us the necessary energy... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 days in this lovely inn - the room was superbly decorated and whilst small had ensuite, and a lovely sea-view balcony. The owners were friendly, helpful and relaxed, and the location couldn't be better: all amenities close by. Highly recommended, if a little overpriced. More

'Superb evening' With many thanks to all the staff particularly Carl the owner for being so helpful and for accomodating all of our requests, Excellent food, spotlessly clean and would highly recommend anyone use the function room for any small or large party venue. More
