We only had 4 nights in New Zealand, and needed to pick one location to relax and enjoy the area. Adrift at Golden Bay was absolutely perfect! Adrift has it all - welcoming hosts who pamper you the entire stay, a magnificent property located on the water, a very romantic setting, and a great location to enjoy the local scenery... More

There really is nothing to be said about this amazing hideaway, except if you are looking for some time out somewhere you can relax and really unwind then look no further! Everything is so private, the breakfasts are awsome, the spa bath is amazing and the beach is perfectly close! Although you feel miles away, you are close to everything... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place for me to study for my upcoming licensure exam in the US amidst our travels, so he found Adrift as our 5-day destination for me to seriously study in the most beautiful place imaginable. In one word: success. The first thing that struck us as we drove down the driveway to... More

The guide book said that possibly the only drawback with Adrift might be that you wouldn't want to leave. It wasn't far off the mark. With so much beauty to see in NZ (and particularly South Island) choosing our itinerary for our holiday from the UK was always going to difficult. Having read about the beachside setting and after reading... More

My husband and I spent three days here in November for our honeymoon and LOVED our stay! We stayed in an ocean view unit, which was beautifully decorated, spacious, had a very comfortable bed and had a very relaxing atmosphere. the food provided to us for breakfast was fantastic. We loved the toasted granola and homemade yogurt. In the evening,... More

We chose to stay here based on the many good reviews on TripAdvisor, actually changing our travel plans to allow an extra night here, and we were not disappointed. This is an outstanding place to stay at. It is off the main road and very close to the sea, which makes for a lovely setting. The sound of the sea... More

We stayed at Adrift for three nights in June - initially we were booked for two but loved it so much we extended our stay. The cottages are beautifully furnished and well appointed with every amenity we needed, and have fantastic views from the bedroom and living areas out over the bay. The sunrises from bed were just gorgeous (although... More
