My wife and I stayed at the Carpenters Arms for one night but wished it was longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and recently refurbished - very tasteful. The atmosphere and food in the bar/restaurant were just superb. Highly recommended!!

Very good value rooms which were clean and very well appointed. Comfortable bed, nice ensuite although room nine only has a bath and a handheld shower which is a bit of a shame as there is certainly room for a full sized shower over the bath.
