From arrival and the warm welcome, the comfortable, well-appointed apartment, the informative book on local attractions in the room, the creature comforts, location. Across the road, a lovely pub and restaurant, a peaceful village, a restful stay, ...perfect! I cannot fault a thing.

We visited Stoke Bruerne for a overnight stay as my husband was attending a meeting in the Boat Inn which is a local pub in the village. Waterways Cottage was the perfect location for our trip. The accomadation was excellent,a very warm welcome when we arrived right down to the quality of the room. Judy Fisher

This B+B is excellent and we would definitely recommend it. The owner was efficient and welcoming. The 'Scarlet Room' has an enormous bed with lovely fresh good quality linen, and a single bed to make it into a family room. The corner spa bathroom made it extra special. The kitchen has everthing (other than an oven) which is perfect. The... More

I booked my elderly parents into waterways for a week so they could have days out on my narrowboat moored nearby, they loved the boat, Stoke Bruerne and Waterways, it was a lovely room, in a prime position with great owners and facilities. They can't wait to return next year!

...to stay at. The room was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The hosts supply to ingredients to make your own breakfast so this is a little different form the usual B&B approach. The walks down by the Grand Union Canal were superb. We could only stay for one night but would certainly return for a longer stay if... More

Much more than a B&B and a better standard than many hotels we have stayed in. Fabulous situation in the middle of the village and a stones throw from both pubs and the canal and its beautiful walks. The accomodation is very spacious and spotlessly clean and the set up gives you your own front door so a real sense... More

When we arrived, our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was perfect - we particularly liked the large, comfortable bed and spa bath. Waterways Cottage was also conveniently located to Stoke Park Pavillions.

We stayed there on Friday 29 July, in the Green Room. The room was great...huge comfy bed, spa bath, fluffy towels and plenty of room. Kath was a perfect hostess, and made us a fab breakfast. 30 seconds walk from the canal and 2 pubs. Beautiful place, lovely welcome, very highly recommended.
