Our six-night stay was every bit as good as we'd hoped it would be. We were warmly welcomed on the Sunday afternoon of our arrival and shown to our spacious and well-equipped cottage accommodation. The complimentary fruit basket was much appreciated - as was the fact that it was refreshed every day. The quiet country location lived up to our... More

We've used the restaurant at the Loftsome Bridge for several years. The food quality is excellent, always freshly cooked and generally very good value for money. They have a very long waiting list for Sunday lunches and weekend evenings which does not surprise me due to the consistent food quality and service. We recently stayed in the hotel for a... More

I e mailed to book a room and meal for my wedding anniversary and asked to be contated by post. I never received a reply to say if the room was available. I have been before and the meal was lovely and was advised to stay by relatives who had stayed before. If they cannot be bothered to reply to... More

My wife and I have been a few times to Loftsome Bridge, even though it's quite local to us. We've stayed over with friends on at least three occasions and have eaten sumptuous meals in the restaurant. We almost have a habit now of booking an overnight stay and meal early to mid-December, just before the Christmas rush. We also go... More

This was the third time I have stayed here on separate business trips. It's an excellent place, in the countryside, quiet, excellent staff, great rooms, great food, excellent breakfast. Suited to business or pleasure and highly recommended.

We went for a meal in the restaurant with friends and were very impressed with the welcome food and it's presentation and quality, staff, and service. The set menu which was very reasonable had a very good choice for each of the 3 courses and good sized portions. The wines were also reasonable. The dining room served the purpose but... More

We have just completed our fourth stay at this hotel with evening meal. We always have a cottage and while the decor of these may be a little dated, the bathrooms are simplistic and always very clean. It is the food that does not disappoint. Prompt service, good sized portions of quality food will once again entice us back. Breakfast... More

A warm welcome on arrival, a superbly clean and comfortable room with all of the little "add-ons" necessary to make the stay successful. The dining room is just that - a dining room - not what you'd choose for a romantic evening but it serves its purpose and is spotless. The menu consisted of a good range of choice and... More

Stayed for three nights on a business trip and have to say that I have really enjoyed it. My room was comfortable, the staff were lovely and helpful, free wifi connection was fast and the food was absolutely delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Loftsome bridge is very comfortable we had a lovely evening with family. We chose the baked scallops a little well done but the homemade soup next was very tasty the whole family enjoyed the relaxed evening with good service from the waiting staff. Hope to return again soon.
