Our room was very well furnished and comfortable. The pub is in the heart of the countryside but with easy access to places of interest, seaside...etc. Our trip was to visit family and we would definitely stay again. It would be a good place for a holiday break.

Stayed at this hotel recently for one night whilst we explored the Norfolk Broads. Location lovely and peaceful, room very pleasant, so we decided to eat in the restaurant in the evening. We sat at our table at 7.30, it took 45 minutes to get one starter and took another 35 minutes for our main course. My husband ordered fish... More

My sister (visiting from Australia) and I stayed here for two nights while doing some research on our family tree. On arrival staff were polite and efficient and the room very good. We ate two evening meals which were good - the lamb shank was excellent and the millionaire shortbread to die for if you have a sweet tooth.

We stayed here whilst visiting the Norfolk broads area and the hotel was lovely. Our rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and the pub was a delight. Would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Went to the restaurant with friends, ordered chicken off the specials board with was described as lime and tequila, but didn't taste of anything. There were so many chips on the plate it took over and would have fed everyone on the table. The service was really slow in the restaurant to the point that we went to the bar... More

Have used restaurant before, the food is good, but often the waitress service area has been slow. This time was really bad, there were 4 tables we were the first seated, we had to wait over 1/2 an hour before we saw anyone to see if we wanted drinks or to take our order. 2 other tables were served before... We stayed here for three nights. At around £60 a night it was really good value as the room was a very good standard, better than we anticipated from the website. I'd recommend here as somewhere to stay but I don't think I'd recommend the food. There was nowhere nearby to eat and so we ate here on our first... More

We chose this Hotel as a venue for a family re-union and to celebrate a 90th birthday over a weekend. We took 5 rooms that were all well decorated and furnished, with plenty of space. All were warm in spite of snowy conditions outside. Food menu is varied and top quality, and the buffet for the function was of good... More

I stayed at the The Windmill on a February Fri and Sat night. The accommodation is very good, clean and fantastic value, even included is free wifi, a novelty in today's age. Unfortunately, the food I had on the Saturday night of my stay was shocking. My first and main courses were not chef made but looked like a recent... More
