We really enjoyed our stay here, lovely relaxed breakfast - fab jams (especially the gooseberry) which were homemade. Fresh milk in a fridge on the landing, rather than those mean little packets, we felt as if we lived there. The garden is beautiful and we just used to gaze out of the window drinking in the view. Dinner at the... More

My husband and I spent one evening here before catching an afternoon ferry to France. Too bad we didn't schedule a longer visit. Lucinda and her Cottage are charmingly inviting without being fussy. She welcomed us with plenty of local information which permitted us to have a long walk before dinner, and another after breakfast the next day. We walked... More

We booked a mid week break at this great little B&B and were not disappointed. This pretty little cottage nestles in its beautiful garden just to the side of Chilham Castle grounds and a stones throw from the historic village square. Lucinda made us so welcome from the moment we stepped into the little garden gate until the time we... More

Wonderful B&B for a short break. Chilham is exceedingly pretty, and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The Castle Cottage is conveniently located, with very comfortable rooms and great views of the beautiful countryside. Breakfast was excellent too, and the room was cosy and warm even in snowy December temperatures. Highly recommended! More

A magic cottage in a wonderful garden setting with great views over nicely wooded rolling hills. Run by a friendly lady who provides quite exceptional breakfasts of home made, and often home grown, products. Our room was roomy, modern and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The village of Chilham is very pretty, and includes a lovely old church. There... More

Had a really lovely stay here whilst walking the North Downs Way. Great breakfast and a warm and good room (although not as nice as the one my Brother had!). More

This is a great little B&B which encapsulates the spirit of what B&Bs should be: a welcoming host, clean and comfortable rooms with en suite facilities and an excellent cooked breakfast. On top of all this you get a chocolate-box pretty house with a terrific English garden set in one of England's prettiest villages, but to cap it all, it's... More

Our stay at the Castle Cottage Bed and Breakfast was delightful. The house is very comfortable and is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Chilham. The rooms were nice, with good bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, with home made jams and plenty to eat. I highly recommend this B&B. More
