Decor very shabby and dated. Hand dryer in ladies not working and paper towels all over the place. Lunch was ok but pricey, as is the wine. Good selection of Ales though which were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly but the manager was overbearing and rude. Needs a damn good refurb and new management!!! More

Pub superb - roaring fire, interesting locals and helpful and friendly staff. Pub meal so so but breakfast more than made up for that! Bedroom cold and no extra blanket in wardrobe. Wish we'd had the restaurant meal in the evening as that seemed very popular with others. More

We stayed at this b&b and found the room (16 the annexe) to be pretty bad decor wise, the wallpaper was coming away from the wall and had a few stains.
