The Staff were very polite when we arrived and departed. Our Room was spacious and very clean. As was the bathroom. Overall excellent value for money and we Would definitely come and stay again. No complaints about the hotel atall.

Room ok no complaints about bed which was very comfortable checked in ok with a very pleasant welcome shower was stuck on boiling hot but was resolved during the day after i complained Did not eat there so cant comment Price was reasonable

What to say?? On an industrial estate. Unfinished grounds/building site, derelict outside bedroom blocks, no atmosphere. Rooms in main building new and clean. A Greek tragedy.Don't do it. Stay at another Hotel. Car park unsurfaced with raised drains and a strong smell of diesel oil, bar & restaurant open when the owner feels like it, staff do not have English as their first language and seem unable to make decisions without a nod from the missing owner, food ok,rooms modern,rates over the top... Had a wonderful stay at the Skylark Hotel. Very accommodating and really nice staff.Managing Director plays an important part in the satisfaction of the staying guests. I think this hotel will work its way up to THE NO 1 hotel in Essex. The guests are put first at this hotel. Would highly recommend this to everyone. Lady Savage.
