Visited this hotel with husband and elderly disabled mother. From our first contact at check-in the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and our request to change a room with a shower to one with a bath was no problem. Our ground floor rooms were ideal for someone with disabilities and we... More

We have just had a lovely stay at the Beamish Park Hotel this weekend. I found it by chance as the Hotel that we usually use when visiting my Husbands's family in the North East was fully booked. It was just an overnight stay, but what a lovely time we had. The whole ambiance of the Hotel was wonderful..the oppulet... More

When we first walked in, we thought we were in genteel old club. It turned out they had a function for a group of seniors … but the 2 young girls behind the bar welcomed us with a smile and soon set us at ease. The restaurant was not quite silver service, but they were trying. I had Braised Rabbit... More

Visited this hotel from the 7th to the 10th June for a family Wedding. This is a very well run hotel & the professionalism really shows. The staff are extremely friendly & they were very helpful in not imposing their usual check out time of 11.00AM. The breakfast was really very good, sadly apart from the wedding buffet's I did... Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. We are delighted with your overall comments regarding our Hotel, staff and professionalism throughout your stay. However, we do have an extensive buffet selector from which to choose from, but it is entirely dependant on the preferences of the Bride and Groom, not the Hotel. Many... More

I had the pleasure of been invited to an evening at the Beamish Park Hotel when they held a Soulville Night. The night was a 3 course meal with entertainment. What a night the food and service was first class and I could not fault it all, the big difference between this hotel and the large chain hotels is this... More

My wife and I recently had a one-night stay here for a special occasion, and it was just great! We had an absolutely wonderful meal in the restaurant, which was decorated in a modern style with upbeat music in the air. The food was the best we've had in the northeast, matched only maybe by rockliffe hall. Maybe. Everything we... More

We enjoyed another marvellous meal from the new menu tonight. My goats cheese starter and lamb main course looked as if it had been taken straight from a celebrity cookbook and tasted fantastic. Staff were as friendly and helpful as always. Have already booked our next two visits so look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thank you all... More

As a regular here for over 18 years I feel I had to write a short review. Not cheap but value for money as the food, service and presentation is exceptional. Very relaxed atmosphere, a top venue for a laid back lunch with nice views then a coffee and read of the papers in the lounge. You only get what... More

The BPH is set in one of the most historic areas of the country. Beamish Museum is passed to get here and the Causey Arch is minutes walk away. The Tanfield railway at the bottom of the drive. The hotel looks out onto the Durham Moors and gives the impression of isolation from the hussle and bussle of Newcastle which... More

My partner and I booked a late deal for this hotel. It was easy to find and is in a great location. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were really quiet and the bed really comfy. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and both enjoyed our meals (especially the desserts) All of the staff... More
