“A nice and friendly hotel in a remote fjord”

Very nice hotel. Excellent location in a remote fjord and a splendid harbour view. Very friendly staff, nice rooms with family-type furniture and interesting art and nature books. Unusually good food prepared with local products. Even the coffee is excellent! Highly recommended place for people looking for havens of tranquillity and spectacular seaviews. More

As this hotel is located far from the main attractions in the South Iceland, such as Skaftafell National Park and Vatnajokull (glacier) the prices are very affordable. A visit to Hotel Bjarg has been part of my hunting trips to East Iceland every year since 2009, where you meet great hospitality and feel next to home.
