The Wayfarer Retreat at Vijaypur on Bageshwar-Chaukori Road, Uttarakhand is situated just off the road, inside a forest. The view of the snow capped mountains from here is an unique experience. For a fuller view one needs to just climb up to the road above.
We had a very enjoyable stay. complete with a bonfire, live local songs and freshly cooked tasty food.
Mr. Pandey (an ex-serviceman) & his small team of 3, including a cook, all need to be Specially Thanked for looking after us so well and giving us a wonderful time.
