We stayed for a few nights at the Damai last week, largely as a result of research on Trip Advisor. It lived up to expectations. It's not a 5 star in the classic sense but one of those beautiful, personal, 4 stars that makes you want to stay longer. It's in the rainforest, perched atop a hill overlooking the sea.... More

With the view to the sea, our own pool in the front and privacy to do any activity you want; add silence, excellent food, good service and a wonderfull SPA, you have a stay you can't farget. This is not a place for family with kids, to find friends, drink beer and party through the night. We were on honeymoon,... More

It was our second time on Bali and at Damai Lovina. Me and my husband, we knew that we wanted to come back. It’s a hidden gem. And don’t let the distance from the airport scare you – yes, it’s a 3 hour drive from the Denpasar airport, but on your way do Damai you get to see the whole... More

The Resort is fantastic (just a little info - because the Resort is in the mountains it rains a lot and it is not shinny, but still very warm weather) - we stayed in a deluxe villa for three days and it was very nice. The staff is so friendly and very serviceminded. It wasn't fake kindness, they were really... More

Our stay here was the fourth of 5 stops in Indonesia in which our planning began with a week-long scuba booking at Wakatobi Dive Resort. In traveling that far around the world we decided to spend 6 nights in Bali before Wakatobi (in Sulawesi State) and another 6 nights back in Bali afterward. For reference, you may also see my... The Resort is a little far away to beach, but you will never care about it once you live in~it is like its slogan: hard to find , hard to leave~~the best villa in lovina~~ In the pool villa, you can see the sea next to the green forest from a high view~ The staff are very nice and polite... More

The only thing I regret is that we only stayed for one night. Location is breathtaking. Staff is so kind and serviceminded. Beautiful villas. Quiet and cozy pool area. Very very delicious food - superb restaurant. We would definitely like to return for a longer stay and gives The Damai our warmest recommandations.
