We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us a room which appeared clean and they then offered us a "welcome" drink and a seat in the reception area/restaurant. We were then given a long and annoying sales pitch by the hotel's travel agency about dolphin and snorkeling tours. We politely declined but they became very pushy and annoying....

Negotiated IDR 100k for a double room including breakfast. The rooms are a little small but nice and clean. What sealed the deal for us was that we could use the associated luxury resort's pool next door. Perhaps because of the co-ownership between the two resorts it also meant the staff were well trained and very attentive. Also, Ray's had...
