My partner and I stayed here last weekend for my birthday. We had been given 2 gift vouchers for the tasting menu and also an overnight stay. We arrived around 4pm on Saturday and were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist who showed us to our beautiful suite. We dined in the restaurant and opted for the 6 course tasting... More

My husband and I stayed here on 23 December. I could not fault the room, restaurant or staff and would like to thank them for making our stay so special. Having recently has surgery on my leg this was my first trip out and everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable inclding allowing us to eat the... More

This was our third visit to the Peat Inn and it has maintained the high standards first set during the previous ownership of David Wilson. Ignore the rather picky reviews of some contributors, the staff here are the best and you will not find better food and service in the area. We will definately be back. More

Peat Inn was as genuine a 5* place as you could ever find. We initially thought about staying in a B&B locally and going to and from the Peat Inn by taxi but decided instead to push the boat out and stay in the accommodation at the Peat Inn....well - what a good decision !! Welcoming decanter of sherry (no... More

Rather than get a taxi back to Dundee we decided we'd stay the night when dining here. I've reviewed the restaurant separately as my opinion is that the restaurant is of a much higher quality and better value for money than the add on B&B option. We were given a very warm welcome, promptly shown to our suite and inducted... More

My wife and I spent a night at The Peat Inn for our anniversary. Wonderful food, exquisitely presented, was matched by first class service in the restaurant. Our room, or to be more accurate our mini suite, was both comfortable and spacious. An excellent breakfast was served in our room. Can't recommend this venue highly enough - first rate -... More

My husband and I were bought a voucher as a wedding present, which we used in July 2011. The rooms are lovely- mezzanine with a living room and TV on the top floor, and the grounds were really pretty. We had a three month old baby that we were reluctant to leave and they were fine about us taking him... More

We stayed at Peat Inn for two nights - their Perfect Weekend package - eating from the A la Carte Menu on Friday evening and experiencing their Tasting Menu on the Saturday. We were impressed with the standard and quality of the food, which was refreshingly different, well executed and well presented. The experience was very good indeed and I... More

My wife and i stayed overnight at the Inn and had dinner there. The food was every bit as special as we had expected - innovative and beautifully prepared and presented. The room was a bit special too - a two level suite with a good sized sitting room upstairs and a comfortable bedroom downstairs. Breakfast was served in the... More

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Peat Inn at the beginning of a brief vacation in Scotland. We chose to stay at the Peat Inn because of its location outside the city and because of its reputation for fine food. We could not have been happier with our choice. The suites are well appointed. There is... More
