Snowmobiled here to check out the "re-hab". Instead, I found the following and it made me sick to my stomach. I've stayed here twice for the annual NH Easter Seals Ride-in and enjoyed it so much and to see this was heart wrenching. Instead of bringing her back to her grandeur, they're ripping it apart.

Don't lose the magic when you renovate. No phones or TVs please! My 14 yo refuses to return because of the renovations. Too many good memories! I am hoping to change her mind. We will not like too much change either. Keep the dining room and food the same! The Balsams is one of America's last great places!
