1. the only place to stay in talasari. there is another small private hotel which has may be 4-5 rooms.

2. we booked an AC double room. the room was very nice and large with 2 verandahs and sea view from 1 of them.

3. there was spider webs in the room which wasn't cleaned despite repeated requests.

4. AC, getser and TV all were working. Though we hardly watched the TV

5. There are frequnt power cuts and at those times the Generator is put on. These times, only fan would run, not the AC

6. Even then, on several occasions we had to remind the reception over phone to turn on the Generator!

7. The only option for food in talasari is the restaurant of this hotel. The quality is abysmally poor. Orissa, in general, has very good cooks; but not this hotel.

8. We chose the place for a quiet and peaceful weekend. There is nothing much to do apart from strolling on the beach. Fantastic location to unwind.
