We stayed at Jaldapara Jungle Camp for four nights. Our stayed was unsatisfactory. There is mismanagement everywhere. All cottages are in very bad condition. Behavior of staff was polite and pleasant. Foods are pricy. There is a parking are occupied by an very old and broken car . Cleanliness is not maintained. There is garbage stagged everywhere . Not recommended for staying.

We stayed at Jaldapara Jungle Camp for 2 days at the end of November this year. It was a decent stay. It is very easy to find out the hotel as this is just beside Reliance Petrol pump. it will not be a relaxing stay but it is a budget hotel. Rooms are clean. Staffs are really helpful. Foods are good and served hot. By car it will take 3-4 mins to reach Jaldapara Tourist Lodge where you can book ticket for jungle jeep safari/elephant safari.

I checked in to this hotel after reading the reviews. The first impression was a big put off. When we approached the owner who seem to be not an amicable person (It would not matter if he was not in an hospitality industry). He was rude. However we got a four bedroom (family) room in Teesta . The manager however was a nice person and good to talk. Things went wrong at night. When we asked for extra bed sheets since we have booked for an extra bed, the sheets were dirty and torn. In the middle of the night water started to drip in the room through the roof. There was rainfall that night. Only consolation that we booked the hotel for one day. And one thing they also provided cup of milk for my baby when asked. I thank only the manager for that. The food was okay. Overall it was not at all worth the money and 4 star review.…

This is the perfect venue for a family vacation, located at the edge of the jungle at Madarihat. May be not for wildlife enthusiasts and jungle lovers, as it not located within the jungle like the govt. resort. But for spending some quality time with family alongwith the thrill of staying very close to jungle, Jaldapara Jungle Camp is the best option. Another reason, being located on the highway, commuting to the the nearby attraction points like Jayanti, Chilapata, Buxa, Rajabhatkhawa, Hollong & for a flavour of foreign (!) at Phuentsholling at Bhutan, is convenient. There is no wifi, internet, TV and there should'nt be. Why would someone like to spoil the serendipity of the chirping of birds, call of peacoks, elephants, the mischievous monkeys with such material non substantial objects ? Staying there was like staying in a relatives place, where the manager and all other staff were concerned regarding the comfort of the guests. I was travelling with my wife and 8 months kid, and this happened to be my first vacation with kid. And there had been no inconvenience at all, be it the food or room amenties. All local travel, jungle jeep & elephant safari, were advised and arranged by Mr.Biswajit Saha (the owner) and the manager, and we had thoroughly enjoyed. We are thankful to them for arranging the tickets of the first early morning elephant safari from Holong. Wish 'Jaldadapara Jungle Camp ' all the best and carry on with the good services.…

When arrived with my wife the staff of Biswajit Saha tried to shift me in an ordinary room which was not booked by me. On my protest we had been shifted to the proper cottage. But woodplanked walls were dirty and the phone connection was dead. On my request a mobile number of a young guard was given, who, for other works, was not available all the time. No arrangement of early morning tea. It was served cold after order as because the restaurant is afar. This Jungle camp has no jungle flavour just the decoration resembling jungle. All the time, particularly at night, sound of heavy trucks was annoying because of it's location, which is beside the high road. Apart from the above facts the staff were well mannered and helpful. The food was good.

My second visit after 2014, Awesome place to stay. Manager as well as, owner Biswajit Da is very helpful, He is a very knowledgeable person. I came to know a lot about Jaldapara & surrounding areas from him, and also about his photography experience. It's very difficult for me to express the feelings in words. Being a nature lover, only thing I felt here was pure nature. Since, the Jaldapara National Park starts just from the boundary of this camp. Though I enjoyed the stay mostly sitting at the garden waiting for a glimpse of a animal. we saw peacock, deer at the resort. At night you can see the elephant if u r lucky...👍 We had lunch and dinner at the resort restaurant. Food was very delicious, best in jaldapara. We took a lovely attic cottage here. The rooms were clean and service was very good. Thanks Biswajit da.. we all liked the unassuming, homely ambience, good food and courteous, helpful staff... 👌😊 My 3rd visit is coming soon.. 👋😉…

Jaldapara Jungle Camp is the best option for people who do not have time for the snobbery of Hollong and the like. Nestled in the lap of nature, it has a charming watch tower from where you can spot various kinds of birds and butterflies. We took a lovely attic cottage. The rooms were clean and service was very good. The owner Biswajit Saha helped us with travel plans. Because of him we got a glimpse of Bhutan. We spent an evening there which was wonderful! Thanks Biswajit! I went with family and we all liked the unassuming, homely ambience, good food and courteous, helpful staff. Many thanks to Gopal and Anup. Carry a book or some indoor games for the nights as the rooms do not come with TV. A great place to unwind and recharge.

Hi We booked this through Yatra. Got a good discount on the rack rate of the hotel. We checked in early evening, staff or manager was courteous and helped us Checkin quick. The place is a big property and defenately need some renovation and maintenance. Lot of unwanted stuff being stored in the property makes it looks like a dingy. But the manager helped me book the elephant safari for the next morning. Which is something very tough to get ur self if u are not staying in the Hallong Bunglow of Jaldapara.
