This was to be a simple overnight stop on our way back to Le Havre but certainly exceeded expectations. It proved a welcome change from the commercial hotels with loads of character and a superb meal. The accommodation was spacious with good off road parking. Definitely worth more than a one night stay.

An odd, charming little oasis, quite near an industrial estate but it feels like the depth of the country, with a large garden which is mostly orchard where you can sit on the lawn beside the river.
