We had a very short visit to Catanzaro to see our traveling companion's family, who speak no English. Catarina at the front desk was invaluable in communicating and interpreting for us upon arrival and also during our stay. Grand Hotel Paradiso is a wonderful place to stay. The place is reall incredible. Just opened Aug 2009. Very very luxurious and hospitable. And for less than 100 euros a night is a deal. The owner, Giovanni Paradiso, his family, and staff run this hotel like any 5 star hotel would be run. Only Better. This isn't a chain so... More
