I spent five days at the Hinterland Hotel with my husband. We chose that particular one because it was the only one in Selargius and we had to stay there for work reasons. I also saw some nice images on their website (which is probably the best thing about the hotel!) and saw that they also organize conferences, which is generally a good sign.
For a start, the hotel was some way short of four star standard. The room was in need of a restyling as it still had an original 1970s deco. It would have been just about ok for a three star, but definitely it did not meet a four star standard.
Breakfast was among the worst breakfast offerings I have ever had. Very poor selection of food and non-existant service. Despite breakfast being supposedly until 9.30, at around 9.10 every morning the waiter started to remove that little food available from the breakfast table.
