We just returned from an excellent trip to Islay, staying an Kentraw Farmhouse. Accommodation was great, contemporary in style with top notch fixtures and fittings. Geraldine was a wonderful, friendly host and offered ideas on places to visit. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is Kentraw is ideal, fairly central for visiting all corners of the island. Just returned from a trip to Islay and was mighty impressed with this place. It's newly done-up and the rooms are very comfortable. The lounge is spacious and is great to have a dram by the fireplace. Hervey was a good host throughout and makes a large and delicious breakfast. Would recommend Kentraw to all. More
