You always wonder if you have found either a lemon or a gem when looking through websites, this hotel was very much a gem. We only stayed the one night but were made to feel very welcome, the rooms were excellent with plenty of room and fantastic ensuites. The evening meal was delicious and the chef was extremely accommodating with... More

Have stayed here many times before. Always excellent. The refurbishments are lovely and much thought and care has been put into the guests' comfort and enjoyment. We shall continue to be regular visitors. More

My Dad and I were competing at Wiscombe Park Hillclimb so needed a hotel nearby that was able to offer comfortable rooms and a decent menu. The Swallows Eves excelled at both. The welcome couldn’t have been friendlier, and the service all weekend was exceptional. The rooms had all recently been refurbished and the food was just fabulous. A true... More

I hate trawling websites looking for places that might turn out to be as good as they look but this one definitely delivers! The welcome is warm and personal, the rooms are comfortable (amazing showers!) and the recent refurbishment has added space, luxury and atmosphere to an already relaxing hotel. The food continues to be one of the many highlights... More

A first class hotel with comfortable well furnished and tastefully decorated rooms. Very friendly staff who made you feel genuinely welcome - our only regret was that we could not stop longer than just one night. A delightful dining room and the breakfast was very appetising with a good choice of menu - next time we will book in for... More

I have stayed at the Swallows Eaves three times now and watched its development from a very good to an excellent hotel. Dorothy and her team are delightful and have thought of every possible way to make your stay exceptional. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard and the restaurant is easily the best in the area.... More

A very pleasant stay for five nights. The hotel had been refurbished very recently to a high standard. We were greeted by the owner on arrival who provided the highest standards of care throughout our stay. A sumptuous breakfast with a wide chice of menu was beautifully cooked and served and a good menu was also available for evening dinner.... More

What a pity that we were staying for only one night because this was a really special find. It exceeded our expectations. The food in the restaurant was first class as were the wine choices. The room and the en suite were equally of a very high standard. We look forward to visiting again but for longer. More

We decided to book here as we were visiting Lyme Regis and wanted something out of town. What a find. We stayed for one night. This is a lovely hotel and is very welcoming. The staff were all helpful. We were shown to our room which was very nice indeed. The en-suite shower room was very well laid out and... More
