I had a great stay. I travel a lot so I know what motels can be. I felt very welcomed by the people that were there running the motel. Jan was very informative of the surroundings. I plan on going when I have more time to stay, and it is not just for business. Ran by people who really care.... more

We stayed at 7 seas for 1 night. We were disappointed with our room. I think the good ratings previously are due to the generousity of the owners. However the lady who I assume was Carolyn explained to us that her husband was seriously ill and not mobile. Our room was clean but slightly out dated. If I visited Lake... more

While it is still dog friendly, one jumped on me, the couple noted on the web page is no longer in residence. it is small, I have seen a lot better motels. Location is great. Frist snow while here so seeing the beach was not in the cards. You can take advantage of bluego transit. Note I stayed here on... more

Two of the most gracious and wonderful people run this motel. They bought at couple of years ago and are constantly updating it. The rooms are very comfortable and the atmosphere is great. If you are in the South Lake Tahoe area, stay here. Really more

The Seven Seas appears to be just one of many similar properties in Lake Tahoe, some of which appear to be closed for the summer. This is a fairly basic ‘economy’ motel, and given that fact that it is very central to many of the attractions, it is exceptional value for money. There was a friendly welcome, and the room,... more

This was a great little hotel. There are less than 10 rooms to this small independent hotel, as are many other hotels in the area. The Seven Seas had a friendly staff and were always accessible if you needed them. Though no pool, they do have a hot tub. It's just a short 2-block walk to the beach which you... more

This place was one of the worst places I have ever encountered. I spent the night on the floor in the bathroom, with the door shut, so I could sleep. People were outside the room in the courtyard talking, laughing, drinking, etc. Take a look at the hotel loby on their video review; what you see is exactly what you... more

Having seen this was #2 on trip advisor, I was expecting a good place. I stayed the previous night at Harveys for only £10 more and it was 10 times better. Admittedly this was only around £35 per night so very cheap, but the room was really dated and the great customer service I had read about was sorely missing.... more

My wife and I visited this family owned and run establishment on a summer weekend. Our rate was at least 50% less then Harrah's Casino which is located about 2 blocks away. We found this Inn to be charming, clean and a great value. Our room looked to be recently remodeled. Although small, we enjoyed a fireplace (believe it or... more
