We weren't expecting a lot from the campgrounds, but we loved the idea that our kids could bike to the beach and on the bike trail from our campsite. We just got back from 3 nights at Camp Richardson in the campground. On the second night we were "visited" by 4 bears within a 4 hour period, rummaging in trash and neighboring coolers right in front of the campers. The bears were easily scared out of our campsite, but the last visitors were a mama bear and two cubs.... more

Rooms really small with no amenities at all. Had to move cabinet where TV should have been to plug in cell phone to charge. No plug in's in bath room also. Priced way to high for what you got. The staff helped as much as they could. Town was not that far and prices were much better and more amenities. more

The resort is a beautiful place. We where there in quiet season, a peacfull place to be. We stayed in a cabin, just up form the shore of lake Tahoe. The cabin was very comfortable & homely.
