The Yukon Motel has some serious Problems and safety concerns in there Kitchen. I noticed Fire coming out of the bottom of the oven. The whole restaurant was filled with smoke. Obviously the overhead vents where not working which is a serious safety concern while working with gas. I feel bad for the people working there. More

If you need a place to stay this place is good. The room was clean though on the small side. Staff was friendly. More

The selection in Whitehorse isn't that great. But this hotel is not bad. I stayed there twice. The first time I had a room with a Kitchenette and it was newly renovated. I was there for two weeks, and much to my surprise they actually changed the comforter after a week. That told me they really do strive to keep... More

First off, all accomodation is kinda pricey in Whitehorse so $120/night (what I paid) is a fair rate for a motel. After reading the reviews here, I requested one of the renovated rooms. It had an air-conditioner, microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, a plethora of satellite TV channels, and good black-out curtains. The bathroom, where the reno's are quite noticeable, had... More

This hotel is a perfect 'base' for sightseeing in and around Whitehorse! Only a short walk to the river/museums/groceries with 24hr. security and good clientel coming in/out of the establishment.. Though not in the 'middle' of downtown, this turned out a bonus as parking on and around Main Street is limited most days. The restaurant serves GREAT food, though sometimes... More

We stayed at the Yukon Inn while in Whitehorse for business. There are really few places to stay in Whitehorse, especially in Summer, and most are full with tourists from cruise ships docked in Skagway, Alaska, and bussed up for a bit of the Yukon...We found accommodations at the Yukon Inn. The place is undergoing some renovations, but is somewhat... More

I recently stayed at this hotel, much to my dismay. I had an issue with my room and the front desk staff was rude and unwilling to try and solve the issue. When I complained to the management, they too were unwilling to do anything. I don't know about other people, but I refuse to sleep in a bed with... More

My suggestion - work on the interior first....let your guest recommendations (or Trip Advisor reviews) help you get customers. They were making updates to the exterior of the hotel...so hopefully - they will do the inside next. Take a pair of throw-away socks or flip-flops, the carpets need to be replaced or at least cleaned. There is no elevator -... More

This is an old property but they are working on it. The outside was being sided with neat wood shingles when we were there. I would think it would be better to start on the inside, but I guess first impressions are important. The carpet throughout the hotel is horrid!!!! Worse than any old movie theatre you've ever been to.... More
