We booked the three night package via the Takhini River Lodge website which included all transfers, breakfasts and dinners. The owners, Jean-Marc and Christiane, arranged our return flights from Vancouver. The lodge is in an ideal location for appreciating the beauty of the Yukon and viewing the northern lights as the B&B is about a 40 minute drive from town... More

Christiane and Jean Marc have built a wonderful retreat here. We enjoyed only 2 nights and wished we could ahve stayed longer (not only because Christiane was making ceme brulee for dessert the day we left!). The room was warm, large, comfortable, the bed was so divine and the bathroom large. There is free wi-fi available throughout the lodge. Sharing... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 wonderful nights in September 2010 as part of a 3 week tour of Canada and it was the highlight of our stay. The lodge itself is very clean and spacious and is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Yukon. Christiane and Jean-Marc are the perfect hosts. The food is amazing; Christiane cooks like... More

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and totally loved the place! The accommodations are first class: spacious living room, big and comfy bedrooms (the bed is amazing, you won't ever wanna leave it!), and incredibly large bathrooms. The hosts, Jean-Marc and Christiane, know how to please a costumer. They are warm and friendly people and were super helpful... More

Thank you very much for your review. We got some great snow fall when you stayed with us! We followed-up with the car rental company. We learned that they are not mounting winter tires on all of there cars anymore. We now strongly recommend our guests to rent a SUV instead of a regular car or to ask the company... More

Driving up to the Lodge, one is reminded of the Little House on the Prairie. A wonderful warm welcome by the hosts into a wonderful, extremely spacious lodge, with rooms onthe first floor. Ans what rooms huge plush bed fitted with extremely high quality linen. Lounge space, large bathroom with all the acoutrements one could imagine. This was not just... More

Christiane and Jean Claude, the innkeepers, are very hospitable, warm people. They are understated and calm, very fitting for a country getaway. The accommodations are lovely; extremely comfortable. One evening Christiane noticed that the Northern Lights were out at 9:30 p.m. (very early!)--she ensured that all guests were informed and had a good chance to view them. She, thus, saved... More

We were very lucky the last couple of days with some very powerful northern light displays. I just posted a picture on TripAdvisor about the Aurora you are talking about. 2012-13 should be a very good season for Northern Light viewing from what experts are saying and what we can witness up here! Thanks a lot to have stay with... More

My girlfriend and I celebrated my birthday at the Takhini River Lodge. Very pleasant experience. We had a great french dinner cooked by chef Christiane. We staid for the night in the Trapper room: very clean and cozy. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Yukon. More

Stayed three nights after a wilderness trip in the area. Extremely welcoming and comfortable and Christiane's dinners were truly outstanding. I also attended a cooking class, which was a lot of fun. Both the meals and the class made use of interesting local ingredients. Breakfasts provided enough food for lunch as well. I did not have a car, as my... More

My wife and I stayed here back in 2010 (twice), and thought I would post a review. I had never stayed in a B&B before, so I was not sure what to think. When I got here, oh my god, why have I not stayed in one before! The home is gorgeous!! There are four rooms I believe, and they... More
