As of today, there are 79 5-star reviews of this wondrous B&B, and zero of less than five stars. There are good reasons for this amazing track record. As others have posted, Clément is truly one of a kind, someone who'd give you the shirt off his back and then go buy another shirt to offer someone else. Also one... More

You will not find a better bed and breakfast place any where. Simply the best in every way. Clement is an absolute gem of a human being who delights with stories, information and then there are the breakfasts!!!! They are small masterpieces cooked with the fine ingredients from downstairs. It is almost worth the cost of an airfare from New... More

Furnishing and decoration of our room and the living room was exceptional. Our host Mr. Clemente shared a lot of information about Quebec and the history of Canada and always had good recomendations where to go and to eat and.... We can recommend this place without any reservation for a stay in Quebec City. More

Submitted by Romeo Mannarino, NYC My wife and I stayed at Auberge J.A. Moisan on a recent trip to Quebec. Everything about this bed and breakfast was superb. The owner, Clement Saint-Laurent is a man of exceptional gentility and kindness. When we arrived, he spent a half hour just advising us on what to see, how to get to various... More

JA Moisan is situated a short distance outside the ‘City Wall’ but is very central. Adjacent the accommodation is the [famous] JA Moisan Grocery Store / café. We often ate and shopped there. It is ideal if you only want a light meal although having said that, there is so much variety that it is hard to choose what not... More

There are people for whom pleasure is derived primarily by the act of giving pleasure to others. In my estimation, the proprietor of J.A. Moisan must surely be one of those people. From the moment of our arrival to to the moment of our departure, when he pulled our car around for us, and even the quick "didn't expect to... More

We arrived in Quebec late at night, and as we drove through the streets looking for the b&b, we got amazed by the splendor and beauty of this town. No less amazed were we when found the J.A.MOISAN. A charming house located at Rue Saint-Jean, a street full of spices shops, among all the J.A.MOISAN's spices shop is the most... More

My husband and I hit the jackpot when we arrived at Auberge J.A. Moisan in the middle of a dream vacation through fourteen states and Canada. As a retired couple, we have traveled many places - but none took our breath away as did Auberge J.A. Moisan! From the moment we stepped into this luxurious bed and breakfast and were... More

My husband & I stayed at J.A. Moisan for our honeymoon in October 2009 and we have been raving about it ever since. We stay in B&Bs during most of our travels and this is the place by which we judge all others. The location, the owners, the breakfast, the shop, the attention to detail----perfection! We were there over Halloween... More
