From the moment when our host Francis welcomed us through the door we felt at home. The hosts were very helpful and attentive to our needs. It is so evident how much they care about all their guests. The room was neat, clean and quiet, breakfast was yummy. As a special treat my boyfriend wanted to treat me to a... More

First time to Quebec City. This B&B made it very enjoyable. Location in the heart of upper Vieux Quebec. It's a short down down hill walk to the boardwalk area adjacent to the Chateau Frontenac and even closer to the restaurants on Rue St. Louis. The Citadel is a 15-minute walk. Francis and Veronique could not have been more cordial... More

This place feels like home. Host is amazing and the breakfast he provides is great. Not very many, if any at all, B&B's offer such a nice breakfast spread....chocolate pastries....homemade jams....croissants to die for.....ok coffee....sorry Francis More

Centrally located in the old town, among many other hotels and B&Bs. Very touristy area. Hippie art collection and oddly appointed rooms. This is our second stay, our room was slightly cumbersome to move about in with a very large chair in the doorway. Shared bathroom was nice and had a great shower. Room and bathroom were clean. Good breakfast... More

Warm, friendly B&B in the heart of old Quebec. Veronyc & Francis were excellent hosts. Rooms were nicely appointed and breakfasts were very good. Hope to return next year. PS - Thanks Nathan! More

The Marquis de Bassano is a top notch B&B situated right in old Quebec. The house is a solidly built old house and is full of character. Sound doesn`t travel at all--we hardly knew anyone else was staying there until breakfast in the morning. The house is within walking distance of nearly everything you would want to do, and the... We wanted to stay in the old city but didn't want to be in a busy, noisy area. This B&B turned out to be just perfect for my wife and I. It's just 2 blocks from the main tourist area but very quiet. You'd hardly know there were thousands of people blocks away. Véronyc et Francis, the hosts, were absolutely... More

Our family celebrated my parents 50th anniversary over a 5 night period. Francis, the owner, was such a wonderful host as was the rest of his staff. We were treated as family and shared laughs, music and stories together. I could not imagine a more perfect place. More

This B&B, and it's hosts Véronyc et Francis, are a perfect complement for a stay in Quebec City. The accommodations are first rate, breakfasts are terrific, and the hosts will make you really feel as if you are at home. We have stayed in many B&Bs around the world, and this is in the top tier. Walk down the hill... More
