We know Quebec City and have stayed at different places including the Chateau Frontenac. We were passing through somewhat on the fly and just happened to see an advertisement for a package here that would put us in a position to enjoy the Old City without having to figure out parking, dinner and breakfast. From the address we knew the... More

We spent two nights here recently and loved our room. Perfect location in Old Town, close to everything, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room in the back which was very comfortable. The last morning, I forgot to pack the top drawer which had clothes, etc and didn't realize this until the next morning.... More

The whole experience at this hotel was memorable. The location, the service, the incredible food at the 1640 restaurant, the soothing saxophone sounds drifting in to our room at night from the busker outside. Being in the heart of the old city of Quebec was amazing. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly More

We booked two rooms on very short notice. When we arrived we were concerned about unloading our luggage and parking. We double parked the car and went up the stairs to the reception desk. Matthew at the front desk was extremely helpful, carried our luggage up the stairs and directed us to the parking lot. Matthew was just terrific, professional... More

2 adults and 2 seniors traveling by train. The location is awesome - across from the Chateau Frontenac - how do you get better than that? The Rue Tresor is perfect for a stroll and finding something unique from the artisans that set up shop along the way. You are a comfortable walk to a million things in the Old... More

We stayed at this quaint Upper Town Auberge for one night and our experience was delightful despite a change in plans upon our arrival. We had booked a superior room for two nights but when we arrived we were told that our room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and would need to be fixed before we could take... More

The hotel is located right across from Le Chateau Frontenac in Old Quebec. It is rated as a 3 star but I would have to give it a 2 star. On the day we arrived we were told that the rate of the room was actually 20 dollars more than it was quoted to us when we made the reservation.... More

Hotel recommended by a friend and we have since recommended it to another couple. Right in centre of Old Quebec. European style of hotel, hence the room small by North American standards. We were out most of the time so, as in Europe, that doesn't matter. The "lobby " Is upstairs and a bit downbeat but the room itself was... More
