Stayed at the room that is right at the top of the stairs (can't remember the number). Thought noise would be an issue, but it was cozy and quiet. Lovely and in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay this past week and much was due to this lovely B & B and the charming hostess, Yolanta. It was eclectically decorated with an interesting array of styles and ornamental touches. I was amazed that given the fact that there were a great deal of knick-knacks, etc... to maintain it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was...

This B&B is located in Vieux Quebec and close to Rue St Jean which has great shopping. Jolanta, the owner, is very gracious and accommodating. Her breakfasts feature fruit, pastries, crepes and a hot dish that she prepares every morning. The beds were comfortable. Pick a room on the first or second floor if you are not able to handle stairs....

My girlfriend and I traveled from Virginia to Quebec City this year to attend the 2012 Winter Carnival! We had a marvelous time, due in large part to the three nights we spent at Castel D'Amerique Francais. The rooms and views were beautiful and Jolanta was a superb hostess! Each day, the breakfast was excellent! There were always plenty of...

We stayed here in Sept. with another Senior couple. We were right next to the kitchen/dining area on the first floor, our friends were in what we were told was previously a stable. Both rooms were delightfully furnished with antiques & collectibles, lots of room & comfortable beds. The bathrooms were not fancy but totally functional with good water temperature...

Our stay was in August 2010. We apologize to Golanta and her daughter for being so late with this review, but as they say, better late than never. Simply put, we loved everything about this amazing B&B. From the astonishing attention to details, to the clean, beautiful, tastefully decorated rooms, Castel d'Amerique impressed on every level. The delicious breakfasts contained...

Very enjoyable stay here. The room was clean, well furnished (it even had a little kitchenette type thing with a mini fridge) and large! We had a private balcony with a great view. Breakfasts were great and my wife who is vegetarian even enjoyed them. I would highly recommend this place. Lots of charm. If you get a room on...

My husband and I are staying in the Cartier room from Sept 19th to 23rd for our honeymoon. All we can say is WOW! For what it is, this B&B is amazing. We are on the top floor, so we must climb 3 long and steep flights of stairs to our room several times a day, but is it ever...

I am writing in answer to the previous review from Boston on September 15th. What room were you in? Our room (Papineau) had huge bath towels and plenty more of them, as well as face clothes and hand towels, in a basket readily available with a message if we wanted more to ask! The showers were full of pressure with...

We stayed 3 nights at Castel d'Amerique Francaise and are suprised from all the reviews so far. We picked the B&B based on Trip Advisor reviews and now we think we did not stay in the same place as the previous reviewers.
It is a lovely older town house with beautiful furnishings that most of them do not work, wall...
