This accommodation is advertised as modern and clean. In reality it is old, cheap and dirty. Rather than refurbishing the rooms they have simply slapped on layer upon layer of paint over the years. Most of the reviews posted here about Trylon aparments are correct. The location is great, close to UQAM, McGill, the summer jazz festival, etc. The staff is efficient and well organized. The hotel Trylon is not the fanciest, most modern place you can stay. It's distinctly aged. But all the basics are here - it's clean and spacious, the rooms have kitchenettes, and the staff are friendly and helpful. More
