This was our second stay at Le Plumard. The owner, Louise, was very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Very simple, mid-century modern and contemporary furnishing; no frilly B&B here. Located near Parc Lafontaine, and close to the bus line, shopping, and restaurants. We went in the dead of winter and still had a wonderful time! The Hostess was very kind and helpful with helping us plan our trip and was always willing to suggest where to go or eat. the atmosphere was very relaxing and not your typical B & B style. Comfy, minimalist B & B, great friendly host with good, light breakfasts. Decor was awesome, very minimalist though, may not be for everyone. We are so glad that we stayed at `Le Plumard'! While the traditional B&B's are not really our style (too much Laura Ashley going on), this new B&B (opened in 2003) promised to be the perfect match for our requirements from the get go.
