This was our second stay at Le Plumard. The owner, Louise, was very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Very simple, mid-century modern and contemporary furnishing; no frilly B&B here. Located near Parc Lafontaine, and close to the bus line, shopping, and restaurants. Highlight was definitely the breakfast. Fresh and delicious. Great coffee, too. Only downside... more

We stayed during the summer, as a romantic retreat. This was the first time either of us had ever stayed in a B&B, but we were very pleased with Le Plumard. Perhaps the most helpful observation I can make is that the place lived up very well to the images and descriptions presented on its website. The rooms were tidy... more

Cozy, modern rooms. Excellent beds. The breakfast is nicely cooked and tasty - and ready when you want to eat it. The people who run this little place are very nice, very down to earth... a pleasure to deal with. Because there are three guest rooms with common areas between them, this is a great place for a small group... more

We went in the dead of winter and still had a wonderful time! The Hostess was very kind and helpful with helping us plan our trip and was always willing to suggest where to go or eat. the atmosphere was very relaxing and not your typical B & B style. Everything was very clean and well presented including the breakfasts.... more

Comfy, minimalist B & B, great friendly host with good, light breakfasts. Decor was awesome, very minimalist though, may not be for everyone. It rained all weekend in Montreal, so a TV would have been nice to have. Also, only one bathroom for 3 rooms, so it can get a little busy at times, although you can use Louise's bathroom... more

We stayed in this B&B for two nights and were treated very well. The host spoke both French and English. Rooms were comfortable, minimalist and contemporary in style. Extremely easy on the eyes. Spotless bathroom and shower/bath. Easy parking on the street. A light but tasty breakfast and good coffee greeted us every morning. If you like your B&B relaxed,... more

This place is just great! The hosts were friendly and knowledgable... Were able to offer recommendations, etc. Breakfast was delicious. We looked forward to it, and having breakfasts and sharing stories with other guests was fun as well. The bathroom was kept very clean, and was very new. There was no TV in the room, but this was a nice... more

We are so glad that we stayed at `Le Plumard'! While the traditional B&B's are not really our style (too much Laura Ashley going on), this new B&B (opened in 2003) promised to be the perfect match for our requirements from the get go. There are 3 very modern, maybe even minimalistic, bedrooms, all in immaculate shape and super clean.... more

We stayed recently at Le Plumard-- a beautiful, new B&B located in the Plateau district. Louise our hostess was extremely helpful with restaurant and entertainment suggestions, even printing off maps and information for us (she speaks French, English, Portuguese, and some Spanish). The room was extremely good value for money ($80 CAN per night for 3 nights, for 2), exceptionally... more
