Anne ma soeur Anne is a great hotel for budget travelers. The rooms are small so it is ideal for a couple. The rooms have a mini kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave) in the room and the croissant delivery in the morning is great. The murphy beds are not the most comfortable, but they aren't horrible either. The small tvs are... More

My husband and I just returned from four nights in Montreal and couldn't have been happier with our hotel choice. Good reviews from Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor were accurate: comfortable (but modest) rooms, convenient location, great value, clean and quiet. Our room had a bay window with view of bustling St. Denis and snowy Plateau Mont Royal-charming. Perhaps it... More

Just returned from a four day visit in Montreal and would highly recommend this studio hotel if you are on a budget but do not want to compromise on service or location. From the friendly help of the staff to the excellent location on Rue St. Denis in Plateau Mont Royal to the croissants on the door each morning, this... More

Just came back and I'm so glad that I stayed here. The location is PERFECT for everything: shopping, dining, nightlife. Not noisy, but not dead either. Unlike some of what I read from other posts, the staff was nice, the room was clean and not too small, and we could not hear the jazz club downstairs (and we stayed on... More

Overall pretty good. The rooms were on the smaller side, but each room had a "full kitchen" (fridge, stove, microwave, etc). Location was excellent, everything is within walking distance. The beds were not the most comfortable, but you have to expect that from a european hotel. More

We found this hotel-studio on the Trip Advisor site and booked it despite the odd negative review. There were no problems booking online and the price was what we expected for two nights in the heart of Montreal on Rue St-Denis. We took the train so we didn't have to worry about parking and it was only two blocks from... More

My partner and I (both late 20's) recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while in Montreal. Location: A+ The hotel is on Rue St. Denis which is a wonderful street filled with charming cafe's and adorable botiques. There are tons and tons of places to eat and shop all along the street. Traveling left out of the hotel,... More

This is a nice hotel in a good location. I had a quiet room at the back, with a balcony which was good for sitting out on (not completely private - you'll see other guests, and neighbours across the back street, and they'll see you). The room includes a cooker, microwave, coffee machine, sink, toaster, pots and pans, and cutlery,... More

We came up from New York for a romantic weekend in Montreal... Montreal was great, but avoid this hotel! Major attitude on the part of certain staff members, rooms were a bit worse than advertised and overall it was a fairly negative experience. But do visit L'Express just down the street- great, classic French bistro. More

This is a lovely little hotel in a very non-touristy area of Montreal. There are many pluses to this place - very nice staff, impeccably clean rooms, small kitchenettes, comfy beds, good prices. However, when we first arrived, we were put in room 22, the room right next to the office. There is a bar with live jazz right underneath... More
