This hotel is for a Lonely Planet (or Budget Travel) travel who's used to the efficient urban living and enjoys the hustle and bustle of a major city (think NYC, Paris and Tokyo). It's small, but clean, fully functional, with a friendly staff, and in the heart of a hip neighborhood. I stayed for two days at a studio and... More

This is a wonderful hotel in a really hip neighborhood. I stayed here with my husband and my 11 year old son. We had a suite with two beds, two bathrooms and two kitchens. The room also had two balconies. Each morning, croissants were delivered to our room. Orange Juice, bottled water, and coffee come free with the room. The... More

We stayed in one of the "economical" rooms, it had a complete mini-kitchen with everything needed to make your own meals. The fold-away bed that converted to a dining table was pretty nifty. Small room but it all worked really well. A couple of croissants and some juice were the included breakfast. The only tough part is parking a car... More

Positives: Location -- right in the heart of Montreal, close to everything Spacious, clean and comfortable Useful kitchenette Fresh croissants delivered to your door every morning Negatives: Location -- on a busy street, very noisy, above a jazz club. Room temperature -- Central air conditioning, so no individual control of room temperature. When I complained the room was too warm,... More

we have stayed at anne ma soeur anne before and would stay there again on our next trip to montreal. it's not a luxury hotel with many amenities but it is good value (especially with CAA/AAA discount) and clean. the best part about staying here is the unique location - right on st. denis in plateau mont royal - with... We enjoyed it. It has very good location and friendly staff, but We think that our room was a little bit frayed. Need some improvements and repairs mainly in the bed linen and the curtains. Sometimes was a little bit noisy at night. More

In the heart of the plateau the Hotel Anne is in an amazing youthful and trendy location. You only have to step outside to be 3-5 blocks from the metro, next to a jazz club and steps from lovely boutiques, cafes and diverse restuarants. The hotel is clean and modest. My husband was intially weary with the compact room size,... More

After reading some reviews I was very nervous about our stay here but actually it wasn't too bad. The hotel was pretty average, though it did include a kitchenette which was nice, though we didn't utilize it. Croissants were delivered to our door every morning and they were pretty good, though after the first day we did opt for a... More

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel please. After going to this hotel, like the previous reviewer, I am highly suspicious of the good reviews for this hotel on this site. We arrived in Montreal early so upon checking in we were told we could leave our bags in the reception office and use the bathroom. The... More

I arrived quite late at night, and this was in fact the only reason that kept me from leaving again immediately. The place is just shabby and has the charm of a youth hostel long overdue for renovation. The person at the reception did not lift a finger to help with luggage, so I carried my bags by myself up...
