I was there for a couple of nights and was happy to find that my room was actually a suite at room rates. There was a large walk in closet in the bedroom that also contained a security box for valuables. A big enough living room made the place very comfortable & user friendly. This is the best place I... The rooms are large and spacious, the kitchenettes are functional, and the location is convenient. However, the noise can be quite bad, the furniture is not inviting, and the carpets feel a bit dirty. Overall, acceptable, but nothing special. More

Dear AcademicTravels, Thank you for having brought to our attention the noise problem. The noise problem was due to building demolition located just one block away from our location. Your comments regarding furniture will be reported to Management. Best Regards, Laila Nabizada FrontDesk Responsable More

I was here on business at UdeM - so the location was perfect. The suite has a kitchenette and so perfect for preparing food and storing drinks. Air conditioning unit was in living room but bedroom was cool enough as long as you remembered to turn the air con on early enough. Reception staff were friendly some days and less... More

The rooms are like mini apartments which is nice. There is a grocery store across the street so it was convenient to buy and cook my own meals. Internet connection was fine. Staff was alright. The building is old and could use updating. The room had a fairly new kitchen and shower ( no tub) which looked nice as long... More

I recently stayed in this hotel for two weeks while attending a conference at the University of Montreal. I can't comment on the price as the stay was paid for by the University but I'll try to comment on everything else. This was a decent hotel. Not the best by far but not bad either. On the plus side the... More

While staff were quite helpful, and rooms spacious, I have to say that this hotel lacked some extent of cleanliness. I was bitten in my sleep by (probably) fleas during my stay. More

The hotel is not at all up to date. The noise level from the street activity was unacceptable. You couldnt close the bedroom window or you'd have no air as the AC was in the living room. I booked a room that easily slept 6 (and I thought I had reserved for 4). When I arrived, they charged me an... More

Dear Tinkerbell 1017, Thank you for taking time to explain your thoughts concerning your stay with us. Please note that it is often typical of hotels to charge for extra person fees above and beyond certain per room-type threshholds, however, please accept my apologies as we should have informed you prior to arrival. Perhaps there was an oversight concerning the... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend and had a great time there. The staff was very friendly, the receptionnist helped us with our computer problem. The rooms are basic and in need of a bit of renovation but the furniture and bed were in good condition. The room was well cleaned every day and the... More

We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderfully quiet, spacious room looking out at night on the mountain and beautifully lit cathedral. The staff was friendly and the location excellent. The underground parking was very good and the price for all of this was very reasonable. We'll be returning in 2010! More
