I have been staying at this hotel for nearly thirty years. As a regular customer, I got to know the owner very well, and she is now a close friend. This hotel is a close friend. I love the neighborhood, the convenience, and the kindness of all those who I have met here. On days when business is busy, the... More

I was happy with my stay here. The managers are very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars. The rooms had a nice charm to them. I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to make it back to Montreal. More

As the title says... This place is clean and quiet. I'm sure I've stayed at nicer hotels but I've definitely stayed at A LOT of worse places. Staff was the best part. Always had a smile and were always willing to help. Again, this should be the standard, but it's not. During my travels I have learned to appreciate good... More

We stayed here for a short trip to see the city. Overall the staff was wonderful, and the rooms were comfortable and had great character, it was a a main street, but road noise was minimal. Food is basic, but there are plenty of nearby eateries. Most attractions are in reasonable walking distance as well. Recommended. More

Wally and Anicka were terriffic and very helpful. They were always ready to offer a helping hand. The location is the best in the city and for the price its unbeatable. We loved Wally, he is on the of the greatest French Canadians that ever lived. We will be back to Montreal and to Armor Manoir. -Mike and Shea- More

Outside parking is 1km from the hotel, they gave us at first a very dusty 2-beds room (decrepit), the A/C was inoperative, an old color Tv, remotes weren't working for both. The new room they gave us was very nice, bed was confortable. The included breakfast was very poor, only toasts and coffee, period. It's overrated. They finally gave us... More

The room did not have "luxurious accomadations" as advertised in the DK Eyewitness Travel book . The bed was a double bed not a queen. The bed was very uncomfortable with a very thin and hard mattress. The room did not have its own heating and cooling system. If it had been Summer with temperatures above 70 degrees we would... More

I am from Montreal and know plenty of people who have stayed at the Armor Manoir, and who loved it. I also visited friends in their rooms some years back and remembered the rooms to be beautiful, and the hotel as well. I moved to Toronto for 5 years and recently moved back to Montreal. When my husband and I... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while we toured Montreal. I had read positive TA reviews, and I will add ours. First, to be candid, there is very little free parking on the street, and what there is becomes available only after 5pm, and you'd better be quick about it! We were lucky in that we arrived at 5pm on... More

I stayed in one of the smaller rooms with a double bed on the top floor. It was perfect for one, two people would really have to like being close to each other. It was clean and charming. My room had a small sitting area surrounded by windows overlooking De Bullion. It is in a great location, but there is... More
