Stayed 3 nights november 2011. It is a charming small hotel with great staff, breakfast and location. Rooms are smallish but clean and acceptable. We spent $ on taxis going to top rated restaurants elsewhere in town. In retrospect there are fine little restaurants near the hotel that we tried for lunch and which we are sure are very good...

Beautiful hotel, cozy but nice, clean bright room with hardwood floor and big windows where you can hear the Notre-Dame's bells in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. We had supper at the restaurant, it was excellent and the breakfast included in the rate was just great. The auberge and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is...

We much preferred staying in the old town of Montreal because the walking was fun, the architecture more interesting and there were fun shops and restaurants from which to chose. The hotel is pleasant and the breakfast is very nice. While the rooms were big, the furniture was not overly comfortable or cozy. Our room looked out back over a...

Everything about our stay at Auberge Bonaparte was perfect, starting with the greeting we got from Anita--the owner's ancient Maltese. She took the edge off a too-long train ride, as did incredibly friendly front desk receptionists Dierdre and Anne Sophie and General Manager Michael Banks.
Our room was double-A quality (Adorable and Affordable), facing a beautiful street but quiet. The...

I traveled with 2 friends (a married couple) in mid-October from NYC to Montreal. We took Amtrak up to see the fall foliage along the way, and it was spectacular. After a long day of train travel, we finally arrived at Auberge Bonaparte Hotel. It is a quaint and charming hotel in the old town of Montreal. Every employee we...

Very nice room in a great location... All of Old Montreal is within walking distance.. Parking is a $15/day at a nearby lot. Make sure they don't box your car in.
Skip the breakfast if you have to pay extra for it.. It just wasn't that good, certainly not worth the menu price.

My family and I stayed at the Auberge Bonaparte for a week during the Summer of 2011. We found the hotel to be just what we wanted: small in total guests but with large rooms that could properly accommodate four people; non-smoking throughout, without a lingering smell of smoke as in other 'converted to non-smoking' hotels; very clean, not just...

What a beautiful hotel! Just spent three days at this hotel and would be very happy to return. The fact alone that it is in a very beautiful part of Old Montreal, close to the Church, shops and restaurants makes it a gem. One step inside the front door of this quaint hotel and you will be delighted. Our room...

We have stayed at the Bonaparte twice - once with a room at the front and once with a room at the back - both were very quiet - the patio on the room at the back offered a great view of the River. The room at the front gave us a view of the street which is always entertaining....
