I am originally from Montreal so I am familiar with the terrain, hotels and restaurants etc. Bonaparte is a wonderful place to stay. Even the least expensive room is spacious with a nicely appointed bathroom. Rooms on the street can be a little noisy but since the hotel is not on a main street it isn't too bad. Back rooms... more

Due to a mix-up we got to stay in 2 rooms on our stay. The hotel was very accomodating at making amends. Both rooms were excellent, but the 2nd one (the one we had booked for) was superb: with a rooftop patio. We liked that the windows opened; everything was fresh and clean; and not a sign of a roach... more

Great place to stay (especially for couples). Notre Dame is around the corner and loads of restaurants nearby. Breakfast, which was very good, was included in the room rate. Definitely recommend this place. more

My wife and I traveled to old Montreal to celebrate our 5th anniv. The staff was great and helped make this a very special weekend for us. They got us an opener and wine glasses so we could enjoy a drink on our terrace. They even suggested a new wine bar around the corner on Notre Dame that was fantastic.... more
