We stayed on the third floor. Our room was a nice size, with high ceilings that actually cathedraled near the window. Free Wifi was great, as were the very heavy duvets on the beds (available for sale, but more than I wanted to spend). Breakfast was pretty basic, but nice. Hotel was very clean, very attentive staff. Easy access to downtown Montreal via the Metro which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We went up for the Canadian Grand Prix and quite a few fans were staying at the hotel as well. A recommend this place wholeheartedly. More

Try to avoid room 131 on the ground floor if you are a light sleeper. The piano is close by and is very audible and there is an external air conditioning unit just outside the bedroom window that whistles. We were so looking forward to our stay after viewing the hotel's web site. It is a very beautiful hotel however it turned into a nightmare. After requesting a higher floor we ended up with a room on the first floor. Maintenance has to come to each room to unlock the refrigerator / mini bar. Tried to take a shower... More
