About 2.5/3 hours drive from Montreal and situated at end of road some 6 k outside of St-Alexis-des-Monts. Hotel overlooks Lake Sacacomie which means great views from restaurant and bar terraces + some rooms but 10 minute down several flights of steps to lake side beach. The service at this hotel is above reproach. The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and the surrounding area is beautiful. Not everything on their website is on the mark, however. We went with our 3 children (5, 10 and 12 yrs), we stayed for 2 nights in suite 320. Fantastic scenery, great place to enjoy with the children, good variaty and quality of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner (no other restaurants in the area). Excursions a bit too expensive. more

Quite a disappointment. I am from Montreal. Got a room in the basement, overlooking a damaged patio door, and no view at all. When I went to the front desk to have it changed, was told the others had been reserved for a while. What kind of answer is that??? Had reserved almost two months before!
