We have been to Essipit 3 times in the past 9 years and have nothing but positive things to say about our experiences. On our first visit in 1999 we stayed in one of the A-frame Chalets. Being older they are not as nice as the Condos but our Chalet was clean and it was enjoyable staying in an A-frame.... More

Looking for an alternative to Tadoussac we found an offer for whalewatching and accomodation in Escoumins. It´s a community called Essipit. We stayed in one of the condos which are build on the bank of St.Lawrence river.With nice weather this must be an execellent place to look out for whales. Too bad that we got a like foggy day although... More
