The location of this B&B is lovely when exploring Toronto; just a five-minute drive to the south and you arrive at The Distillery District, just a ten-minute drive to the south-west and you're in downtown Toronto. As to the B&B and the inn keepers, we didn't have the same positive experience as most people who slept at Toronto Townhouse appear... More

Thank you for your input and feedback. We are glad that you thought our location and our pancakes were “absolutely lovely”. We are disappointed that your negative perceptions impacted your stay to the point - that to use your words - you “almost felt like intruders”, “almost felt like children… with almost every move” and that Tan “almost chased you... Was a great location, the owners were really friendly and helpful, nice and clean and comfortable, and homely too, stay here, a room sharing a bathroom was fine too, separate toilet etc. More

We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect combination of welcoming and privacy at the same time. Great location - quite neigbourhood, lots of restraurants and interesting things within a few blocks (Allan Gardens) and for those who enjoy a brisk walk, you can stroll easily enough to the core spots of downtown Toronto, few blocks north to Young and Bloor... The townhouse was really nicely furnished and my room was really comfortable. Plus the owner was very helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was great! Definitely a great place to stay for a relatively affordable price! More

Positives The location of this bed and breakfast was the most positive feature for us. We were able to either walk or take public transit to anything we wanted to view in the city. Also, breakfast is optional and can reduce the cost of your room by $20 for two people. I really liked having this option since it gave... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay overall and found positives in the location of our home, and how you were treated by us. We do try to be friendly, helpful and hopefully entertaining to all our guests. We are disappointed you found so many other things not to your liking. Due to time and... More

This is my first ever post for trip advisor. I just wanted to make a quick comment to say that Tan, the owner, is an incredible host. Breakfast was always a treat; not only a good chef, but an intelligent man who can readily give his advice (if you so seek). The accomodations are close to the "village" , yet,... More

Just got home from a 5 night stay at Toronto Townhouse with my wife and 11 year old daughter. The accommodations are very nice, clean and functional and the neighborhood is quirky with lots of good places to eat at. But the real upside of this place is the owner Tan , he makes all the difference between another nice B&b... More

The location of this B&B is perfect, close to fine restaurants, public transport and grocery stores. The room we stayed was quiet, spacious and clean. Tan is a great host who cooks very delicious breakfast and offers advices from sightseeing to dinning places. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and come back for our next visit. More

This B & B has the perfect location. It is in an area of the city called Cabbagetown. The neighborhood is made up of older Victorian style homes, and is close to great little restaurants, a grocery store, and transportation. Just a few steps out the door is the trolley that goes downtown and to the major subway stops. We... More
