I work out of hotels about 45 weeks a year... this one is not to recommend. I strongly recommend the Business Inn, very close, on Elgin and Mclaren. Last July I had a days work to do in Ottawa. Since the TV had just about continuous ads about visiting Ottawa where you stayed 2 nights and got the 3rd half price I figured I'd go do the work, see how the place was, then maybe stay a couple of other days. The room was quite clean and nice.... more

This hotel was an abject disaster. I booked for a staff of four and the billing was a nightmare. The location is OK, but this hotel is in a residential neighbourhood and looks like it used to be an apartment building. Yes we spent 4 nights at this hotel ,first we asked for a smoking room which I assume was smoking ,for there was not a single ashtray in the room. when we asked for an ashtray at the desk ,we were turtly told that " maybe able to find you one",that was the first night,we never did see an ashtray.... more

Smoking room -they said it was the only one left, you cannot reserve a non-smoking room when you do your reservation (I wonder if that is legal). Blankets with wholes.
