I just recently returned from a short stay at the Allison House Inn in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario,Canada. It is a lovely place - a re-worked old school of all things.. with a lovely garden. My wife and I stayed here for several nights when we visited the Shaw Festival. I can't praise it enough. The building was an old school house which was remodeled by the owners into a first class B&B with baths in each suite. Our room (and I beleive most rooms) was a huge second floor room with a fire place... more
