We booked the McCloud room and absolutely loved it. The big king size bed and the jaccuzzi were wonderful. We were close to everything. Fran's flowers are magnificent; Clark's warmth, hospitality and baking.....well, there can be no one better. Our room was adorable and the bed was a dream - better than our own. Fran and Clark make you feel like family throughout your stay. Local history; directions; best time to do what; etc. were offered with expertise. Location was ideal for the falls.... more

We felt right at home and pampered all at the same time! Our room was comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and even though we left too early for breakfast (5:00am!) on our last morning, we were sent off with a bag full of scones and apple bread to eat at the train station. more

My daughter and I stayed at Gretna Green for the second year in a row. The beds are the most comfortable ever and the homemade, eggs to order, breakfast delicious. Clark is a charming and delightful host as well as a great cook and baker. His homemade jams were yummy! more
