The B&B was wonderful. Very personable, and welcoming. The breakfast was great, with lots to chose from. We met two couples that come up twice a year and stay only there. The room was comfortable, and walked out to a private garden with a view of the River. It is located very near downtown and very walkable. It was close... More

Joanne was fantastic. Breakfast, coffee, history, good ideas for daytime activities, and always a fantastic smile for everyone. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Thanks Joanne : ) The Eastwood is in an excellent location. It is a short walk to the major attractions, and just far away enough that the nighttime noise doesn't interfere with a good night's sleep.... More

A difference between a hotel and a Bed & Breakfast is the level of personal attention you get, and the difference between Eastwood and other B&Bs is Joanne. She is such a godsend and was extremely helpful in getting us settled in and making us feel welcome. Her breakfast was the stuff of champions and like another reviewer said, she... More

This was our second B&B in Canada the first being a bit of a disaster,we need not have worried. Our Suite covered the whole of the second floor and was amazing. The owner could not have been more helpfull and made sure everyone chatted arround the large breaakfast table. We arranged to stay a third night but had to move... More

I spent four nights at the Eastwood Lodge, and it was the best decision we could have made. The house is so cozy and welcoming, and the owner Joanne is friendly and helpful. We booked the rooftop suite in the main house, and it was an incredible value - like having your own home away from home. Spacious and well... More

First let me say that Joanne, the proprietor, is the Gold Standard for her trade. Her joie de vivre is contagious, she is an excellent conversationalist and her cheerful, helpful manner was consistent through our week-long stay. It's no wonder she receives such praise in other reviews I have read about the Eastwood. THE ROOM: When I travel on vacation,... More

First trip to the Falls. Wanted a bed and breakfast near the Falls and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Very close to all the action. Beautiful views from the balcony upstairs, although the first floor would have been OK too. Nice neighborhood to walk at night. Joanne was just wonderful. Great light breakfast fare to get your... For the majority of our trip we had stayed in motels, but when we arrived at the Eastwood lodge and were greeted by joanne, it was like she knew us already. Even though I had booked the room ages before, she remebered the email conversations we had at the time of booking. She was very pleasant and extremly knowledgable about... More

Our stay was from June 3-6. My husband and I selected the Eastwood from the tripadvisor reviews and from visiting their website. Both were impressive. We were not disappointed! The Eastwood was great! It was so clean and comfortable that we felt like we were at home, rather than at an establishment. We had the Oak Room on the upper... More

I've just returned from a mini-vacation to Niagara Falls. The excellent location and comfort of the Eastwood Tourist Lodge helped make this a terrific getaway. The accomodations range from garden level of 2 rooms (my choice) with private entrance opening out on a lovely garden and patio, to balconied rooms overlooking the gorge. The usual cable TV, small fridges and... More
