I spent one night here after arriving in Toronto. The hotel is in the midst of updating their rooms and, unfortunately, I was in one of the rooms still waiting to be updated. A friend was staying in one of the updated rooms and they are quite nice.
Judging by my room, this reno is just what the hotel needs....

For the most part I concur with all of the positive comments about this hotel. I checked in as part of a large hockey tournament and despite a bus full of people coming in from the airport everything went smoothly at the front desk. The beds were a pleasant surprise. As i am a regular traveller i see all types of service from excellent to terrible. Even when going from hotel to hotel in the same brand. everytime I stay at the Delta Meadowvale location there is one staff member who exceeds normal service Kamran. He remmebers your name, treats you special and never asks for anything.

I understand the hotel is undergoing renos, as they are muchly needed. The rooms (currently) are a true blast from the past and showing lots of wear and tear.
