I stayed at this Hotel and found it the great water front location. Downtown, good front desk service. Large clean room with great view of the harbour front. Easy to park unground, main parking location. Room were very clean. Went out for lunch, older hotel nearby. food was ok. The night life was a little quiet but found an older... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced room for just one night and the Confederation fit the bill. It is in a great location, right on the waterfront, close to the main street - Princess. There were many restaurants within walking distance. We tried the Olivea and it was very good. There was an open air farmers market setting up... More

My wife and I decided to stay downtown for a Saturday night and enjoy the many shops and sights that our hometown has to offer. We had made reservations a day before at the Confederation Place Hotel and contrary to the reviews I read we found it to be very nice and affordable. The hotel is located on Ontario Street... More

We stopped in Kingston overnight and chose this hotel due to locatiion. It was $105 plus $15 parking. Our room was very small with the old fashioned blow heater that didn't do a good job. The room was VERY small with one uncomfortable chair. Room on a non smoking floor smelled like smoke. Bed wasn't made up properly, tub was... More

I was a little worried before going before there were a lot of bad reviews because the lift was out of order. Luckily in the second half of September the problem was solved at least one lift was working correctly. Anyway, we had a problem because our confirmation was not confirmed, but there were plenty of free romms and so... More

This property has recently been updated. AKA new paint/ wall paper/ counters and tile. Nothing too fancy. Everything was cold from the time we checked in. We made our way up to the room which had the heat off. It was so cold the batteries in the remote were frozen. The guy from the desk brought a new remote up... More

I got a rate that I thought was great, then I saw the room or maybe it was a closet , at that is what felt like. I went to the front several times to complain about the lack of internet connect. I was that they never had a problem in that room with the wireless connection. I finally gave... More

Stayed here for a business trip recently, and liked the idea of being downtown which is convenient for walking to restaurants etc. However, I picked this hotel as it is one of the very few that has smoking rooms and I won't make that mistake again! Better to go outside than deal with the calibre of this room. The smoking... More

We stayed for one night and upgraded to a waterview room for $10 extra. We had a 5th floor room with a fabulous view. The room was clean and looked up to date. Bathroom looked half redone. Tub and ceiling need some work but all was clean. Staff was friendly and since we were moving my daughter from Kingston to... More

Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We had stayed at the Radisson and also looked at other more expensive chain hotels. This hotel had excellent location, room was good size and clean, view of lake was very nice. All in all a good hotel for a very good price More
