It was in the mid-December,’10 that we had decided to visit the unexplored travel destination in Dooars, North Bengal. That was not just for a trip but only to relax for few days.
It was our fourth trip to Dooars. This time we stayed in River Wood Forest Retreat, near Lataguri for the first time. Located in South Dhupjhura, adjacent to Gorumara National Park & Murti river, it is a place full of natural beauty and tranquillity.
Spread over a vast area of 3 acres, it is a perfect place to stay if you are in for relaxing. The are 12 well-bred and cosy rooms, the food quality is very good almost like home made.
